Illustrator is a computer software specialized for creating graphic illustrations. Illustrator is commonly used to create posters, symbols, and logos. Illustrator is made by the same company as photoshop. It is used to express your creativity from the use of designs. Illustrator allows you to create a design and then send it to other softwares so it can be produced. In this case the Illustrator project was transferred to the UCP software which works with the laser cutter. Then the laser cutter created my design.

During the Illustrator/Vinyl/Laser unit I learned how to use the software called Illustrator, as well as machnes such as the Vinyl cutter and Laser cutter. Illustrator is great for creating logos or designs. Everything that was designed on Illustrator could be transferred to a machine to be created. Being able to understand how to use illustrator is great because so many things can be made from this software.
