Inventor is a computer software in which you can create three dimensional visuals of anything you want. It involves creating a sketch, dimmensioning it, and extruding it. Inventor is an easy way to make a simmulation of a design before it is actually made. There are so many tools that can help produce your product, ensuring what ever you want to design will be possible. Products that are created on inventor can be transferred to other computer softwares. We exported the Inventor design to a software called MakerBot, which works with the 3D printer. After, my design was able to be 3D printed.
Before doing any inventor designing, I drew each widget on isometric graph paper.

During the introduction to inventor and 3D printing unit I became familiar with the software inventor. Inventor is an easy and effective way to create 3D objects. I leared how to make sketches and then create them on inventor. After Inventor projects were completed I learned how to use MakerBot and a 3D printer. Being able to use these technologies is very helpful because you can create almost anything with the use of these technologies.
